Ahhh, winter quiet. I used to watch the tides

so that I could swim in the Pamet river and follow the outgoing tide. Now I am watching the moon so that I can know its position over the marsh.  The seas are pulled by the moon to create the high tides and in the absence of that pull – the swell of sea does not occur. It is very sexy what happens between the earth and the moon, the moon beckons and the earth responds.
